Introduction

In this lesson, we will learn about cubes, perfect cubes and how to calculate the cube root of a perfect cube. We get the cube of a number by finding the result of its multiplication with itself three times.

Similarly, we can find the original number from this result by finding the cube root.

Example: Let us take a 3 cubed

           3 Cubed =

Class_8_Maths_Cubes_And_CubeRoots_Cube

= 3 * 3 * 3 = 27

We write "3 Cubed" as 33 i.e. the number appears three times in multiplying.
