Introduction

Quadrilateral is derived from Latin word quadric meaning four & lateral meaning sides. It is a polygon with 4 sides, or 4 vertices or 4 angles.  Quadrilaterals have 2 diagonals.

 

Most of things around us are quadrilaterals. E.g., Blackboard, Computer, Book, Widow, Door, Kite, TV etc
